Data available at the CIGALA/CALIBRA Network is currently managed by the Faculty of Science and Technology (FCT), UNESP - Univ Estadual Paulista, Presidente Prudente, São Paulo State, Brazil. Data is available without any charge for research and educational purposes.
Some of the data, as well as access to some of the ISMR Query Tool capabilities, require the creation of a user account. Requests for account creation are available at this online form.
A reference must be included in publications that use data from the CIGALA/CALIBRA Network. Suggested insertion:
"Monitoring stations from the network were deployed in the context of the Projects CIGALA and CALIBRA, both funded by the European Commission (EC) in the framework of the FP7-GALILEO-2009-GSA and FP7–GALILEO–2011–GSA–1a, respectively, and FAPESP Project Number 06/04008-2."
If the research uses some output, such as plots, calendars or maps, or has benefits of the ISMR Query Tool capabilities, a citation for the following paper should be inserted:
"VANI, Bruno César; SHIMABUKURO, Milton Hirokazu; MONICO, João Francisco Galera. Visual exploration and analysis of ionospheric scintillation monitoring data: The ISMR Query Tool. Computers & Geosciences (2017), http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.cageo.2016.08.022 .
CIGALA/CALIBRA Network is under operation since 2011 with the support and collaboration of several partners who dedicate efforts for its operation at different levels, such as data acquisition, management and analysis. Error free data cannot be warranted. For any question or issue, please contact us via the online form or via mail.
